The undergraduate program of Nursing at Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai was established in 2006/2007 with the official permit of the Ministries of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of Republic of Indonesi, number 105 / D/VI/ 2006, dated on June 19, 2006. The Program was established not only because of the progressive development of the Diploma of Nursing founded in 1996, but also because of the request of communities, especially coming from health institutions in Kampar, Riau Province. The program has been accredited by National Accreditation Board of Higher Education in Idonesia since December 29, 2014 and achieves a B rank of the accreditation.
The undergraduate program of Nursing in Universitas Pahlawan aims to:
- Produce nursing graduates who master the science of nursing who are able to comprehend, solve problems, and implement nursing practice based on nursing science
- Produce nursing graduates who can be an agent of change who are able to manage nursing–related fields in aspects of science, managerial and leadership in nursing
- Produce nursing graduates who are capable of conducting research relevant to nursing science issues
- Produce nursing graduates who have qualities and characters
