MENTAL AND PSYCHOSOSIAL HEALTH SUPPORT IN COVID-19 PANDEMIC AT PULAU JAMBU VILLAGE.

The COVID-19 pandemic is a non-natural disaster that can have an impact on everyone’s mental and psychosocial health conditions. According to WHO (2020), the emergence of a pandemic causes stress to various levels of society. Although so far there has been no systematic review of the impact of COVID-19 on mental health, a number of studies related to the pandemic (including bird flu and SARS) have shown a negative impact on the mental health of sufferers. Given the risk of increasing mental health problems and mental health problems due to COVID-19 in the community, it is necessary to carry out activities to provide mental health and psychosocial support that can provide options for the community in terms of mental and psychosocial health support.
