Holding an E-Sport Competition, UP Breaks the Mobile Game Negative Paradigm

Universitaspahlawan.ac.id, UP – Mobile Game Competition, which is Mobile Legend, is held by students of the S1 Informatics Engineering Study Program at Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai University (UP) in order to inform the public that online gaming is now part of a sports competition on Monday (8/19) 2019.

“By joining this E-Sport competition, I think these students have a place to share knowledge, train teamwork, hone sportsmanship in a match, plan strategies. Universitas Pahlawan will make this competition a routine agenda in order to build an E-Sport community” said Vice Chancellor for UP Academic Affairs, Yusnira, M.Sc., when giving a speech.

Another case with the Chair of the Study Program (Study Program) S1 Informatics Engineering which emphasizes that a gamers must be able to change the negative paradigm that is already inherent in the gaming communities, especially the mobile game that has been booming lately.

He revealed that the E-Sport contest also formed the “E-Sport Community” community. The formation of this community according to him is a good way to improve the quality of E-Sport in Kampar Regency and Riau Province.

This Mobile Game application from Moonton is participated by 17 Teams, each team consists of 5 to 6 people from high school level or high school alumni of the same level. The names of the teams that took part in the E-Sport UP included Acroworf, Opsel Gaming, Endaw Ponsel, GSKC, LBC, Oply Ponsel, Enconter A, Sabrut.
