Universitas Pahlawan, Implementing International Cooperation and Compiling Erasmus + Proposals

Universitaspahlawan.ac.id, UP – Delegation of Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai (UP) together with Iclon of Leiden University and PUM Netherland Senior Experts compiled an Erasmus + proposal for International Credit Mobility. This collaboration activity will be executed next November, Friday (10/25) 2019, in the Netherlands.

This agenda was also attended directly by the Rector of the Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai, Prof. Dr. Amir Lutfi. He said that the Universitas Pahlawan not only completed the proposal, the UP delegation was also ready to realize the second implementation of its collaboration with Delft Technology University (TU).

“In 2018, the implementation of the collaboration in the form of Scientific Orations conducted by TU Delft Civil Engineering Lecturer Dr. Olivier Hoes made IRO UP more eager to realize other collaborative activities. Furthermore, the IRO has prepared a schedule to discuss the UP Civil Engineering Study Program (Prodi) curriculum which has established its unit selling point, namely water management, “said the Chair of UP International Relations Office (IRO).

He also said that based on the results of the meeting with Dr. Tik Tan, chairman of the Health of the Dutch Diaspora, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health and the Dutch Ministry of Health have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on bilateral cooperation. The Chair of the IRO hopes that UP Graduates of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) can prepare themselves to fill the realization of the results of the collaboration that will be carried out in the near future.

In 2020, a professor in Law, from Amsterdam University and De Haag Hogeschool, Prof. Van Otterlo plans to come to the Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai to teach students of the Law Study Program and assist with the development of the Entrepreneurship Incubation Center.
