Digital Learning Strategies of the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 by Jan Nedermeijer
Universitaspahlawan.ac.id, UP – International Relations Office (IRO) of Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai (UP), welcomed the arrival of experts from PUM Netherlands Senior Experts, Netherlands, namely Jan Nedermeijer, Monday (26/08) 2019.
“Mr. Nedermeijer is an effort to improve process indicators: online learning for higher education clusterization. In the future UP will bring in more experts for all study programs, especially new study programs, such as S1 Animal Husbandry and Entrepreneurship, “said the Universitas Pahlawan Rector, Prof. Dr. Amir Lutfi.
Every year, Mr. Nedermeijer visited UP to give Moodle training, which is an open-source learning platform, to lecturers at UP. This year he returned to provide Blended Learning training with the theme “Digital Learning Strategies in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0.”
In addition to providing training, Mr. Nedermeijer also gave an appreciation of the development of the Pahlawan University campus which proved some improvements both in infrastructure and in Human Resources. Mr. Nedermeijer is expected to help the Industrial Engineering program, and two other new study programs, namely entrepreneurship and animal husbandry.
“Mr. Nedermeijer carried out her activities at UP from August 25-31, 2019. Besides giving Moodle training, Mr. Nedermeijer has also provided useful input for the future UP development, “said Vitri Anggraini Hanardi, M.Pd., as the IRO Secretary.
The IRO Secretary also mentioned Mr. Jan attended the meeting held with H. Yuyun Hidayat, ST, M.Sc., a national industry player and owner of PT. Virajaya Riau Putra, Chair of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University (UIN SUSKA) Riau namely, Fitra Lestari, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Science Technology UP namely Yusnira, M.Sc.
