Universitas Pahlawan in the Development of Entrepreneurship Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0
Universitaspahlawan.ac.id, UP – Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai University (UP) Holds a public lecture, with the theme “The Role of Higher Education in the Development of Entrepreunership in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0”, UP welcomes the beginning of the semester with the spirit of building quality human resources and has a spirit of entrepreneurship, Saturday (07 / 09) 2019.
This public lecture was held on the yard of the Rectorate Building of the Universitas Pahlawan, the event invited experts namely, Prof. Zainal Arifin Hasibuan is a digital expert. The event was attended directly by the Rector of UP, Prof. Dr. Amir Luthfi, Deputy Chancellor (Warek) in the academic field, Dewi Anggriani Harahap, M.Keb., And non-academic Warek in the field, Yusnira, M.Sc.
“Entrepreneurship is the soul of the Universitas Pahlawan. With various disciplines we have developed, UP continues to develop a spirit of vision and mission that is oriented to quality and entrepreneurship. said Dewi Anggriani Harahap, M.Keb., in her opening remarks at the public lecture.
Prof. Zainal Arifin Hasibuan in his general lecture revealed, every human being is able to add something from himself in order to increase his quality, not only intelligence, but also depends on the willingness to survive and develop themselves, for example people who can adapt to change
“I advise students, we must have high integrity, dare to accept challenging changes. At present, everything is connected, all things are connected because of technology,” said Prof. Zainal to the UP Public Relations Team.
The professor who is often called Prof. Ucok also explains the distrubtion disigity that occurs due to the development of artificial intelligence, digitalization and sophistication of the digital age, such as Facebook’s similarity that detects a person’s face.
He also opened students’ views about the business landscape which is currently also changing in the digital era, transportation business does not have to have transportation, every person in the hotel business does not currently have a hotel, this is the business condition of the industrial revolution era 4.0.
